Ned Walker is an Australian Singer Songwriter, who's songs come from the heart and who's distinctive voice is often compared to James Taylor. With influences such as Neil Finn, James Taylor, David Ford and Damien Rice, Ned's songs place his heart clearly on his sleeve. His relaxed performance style has been endearing him to audiences around the world. A professional musician for the past 14 years, Ned has played in a number of bands, most recently Australian band Shifer. During his time with Shifter the band won the Australian JJJ Unearthed competition, played Big Day Out, toured Australia and LA. They supported acts such as Blondie, Evermore, Grinspoon, The Living End to name a few. He also was a member of Shifter when they played Musexpo LA in 2005. He is now living in London where his relaxed performance style is again endearing him to new audiences.
