Bio

Needless is a band that stands to bring the world something with meaning. Never giving into the waves of conformity and doing as much as they can with the little money they have to even but scratch the service of music's finest. The music presented was recorded in 2007, at a low budget studio. the Music is a small representation of the bands wide variety of music yet to be recorded. the band will be sending new finished music soon!

In 2005 Caleb Duke(drums), Austin Gaddy(guitar) and Jason Daley(vocalist) got together for a jam session. all came from different backgrounds of rock but all agreed on one sound that later came to be Pensacola's very own Needless. Later that year Coyan Foster joined on bass and Needless began to play at parties and small get togethers. friends and family members began to spread the word of an original progressive grunge band from Pensacola and the parties got bigger. due to complications Needless let Coyan go in 2006 and days later picked up close friend Jay Pastucha who added his own slap funk taste that added to the Needless sound. Three months later the band was ready for their first show at the low end studio they recently recorded at, with local rock bands Orphic and death metal band Korillian. Needless opened and turned the heads of the audience who had never seen the experience and stage presence the band had presented. In 2008 Needless had already had a large number of shows and had picked up a second guitarist Brandon Mckendric. The band decided to take it a step further. Needless signed up for the 2008 Florida School Jam Battle of the Bands in Ft. Walton beach to face of against 20 of Floridas' finest high school acts. The Grand prize was eight spectraflex chords with band logo, fifty packs of ernie ball guitar strings, yamaha mixer and a small recording package with producer Rick Reynolds and mini world wide distributions package. Needless performed their hearts out and that night won the 2008 battle of the bands. After that Needless was a force in Pensacola and was offered the part to open for a huge underground touring band Suicide Silence. The band knew the audience would be wanting to hear metal and did not know what to expect. Needless played regardless in front of 400 Suicide silence followers and surprisingly was embrassed for their unique sound. Needless is currently in the studio with Rick Reynolds working on new stuff with good quality. Brandon Mckendric recently resigned and Needless has picked up a new guitarist to add to the band Dylan Noble.
