Starting out as a covers band formed by Joseph Longdon at Mill Hill School; Nefarious have gone from strength to strength becoming one of the East Midlands most exciting underground hard rock bands. Pre-2009 saw the band undertake multiple line up changes before maintaining the solid line up of Karl Eyre (drums) and Spanner on bass. Nefarious struggled to keep a loyal guitarist until February 2009 when Adam 'AP' Phillips completed the line up which has stayed the same ever since.
Obtaining regular votes from music industry judges in the UK Unsigned competition and winning the Derby "Metal to the Masses" competition later that year; Nefarious have established themselves as an original, charismatic band who stand out alongside their generic rivals.
Currently Nefarious are mastering their new E.P. "Arrival Destruction Departure" which will be available via their Myspace mid June 2010.
The band are currently planning summer tour dates.
