In times where less is more, we want to be more in order to be less. We hug, we embrace, we include and spit the dub beat, the shoegazer ambience and dark kraut, the cavacos, the noises, stockhausen, and the stratosphere. We want the infinity of mosquitoes, of grains of sand, of seconds pointers, of blinking, of bacteria, of atoms. We want the infinite essence.
Negative Mantras is a three element duo formed by Taian Cavalca, Julito Cavalcante and V.Masta, on backstage. Immersed in beats, the sound refers to a modern mantra and paradoxically puts together synth layers, noise and frequencies processed with bass, melodica and cavaco tracks in their rawest state which revels the Brazilian roots and the human aspect of the production.
