Negativehead

Negativehead. The audio essence of a bad mood swing ranging from bliss to lividity and all points in between. Negativehead was formed by Jeremy Zumaran (ex- Robed in Exile) and Aaron Cooper (ex- Bliss) in Santa Cruz California. Zumaran and Cooper were so sick of cookie cutter bands and stale lifeless music that they joined forces to create the beast of Negativehead. The music of Negativehead covers a vast arena of styles with a metallic edge. In the course of a song you might hear banjo, vocoder, porno music, black metal, ballads and middle eastern music. The lyrics are equally diverse and cover such topics as alien abduction and colonization, the discontinuation of life support, robotic takeover and the occult. The vocals of Zumaran spasm between screaming, crooning, vocal percussion and middle eastern influences which play off of the frenetic and rabid drumming of Cooper. NEGATIVEHEAD is rounded out by the talents of Gene Morris and the Smokedog on guitars and feedback and Brad Kramer on bass. SmokeDog and Brad bring on a new layer of chaos to the existing acophany of sound through their individual talents. NEGATIVEHEAD's goal is clearly that of pushing the boundaries of extreme music and to destroy mediocrity. Join the cult of Negativehead.
