Bio

Neil (Guitar Man) Cacci is a prolific session guitarist, arranger and vocalist now celebrating over four-decades in the music business.
Neil began his music career as a demo intern at many record labels, chiefly the legendary Chess and Mercury Records in Chicago.
Neil followed the MCA team to Nashville in the mid-seventies and further honed his songwriting and recording crafts.
In 1981, Sunset Promotions of Chicago, Inc., was formed.
After more than three-decades, the company has branched out to include; music publishing, recordings, distribution, consulting and education.
Neil has had nine-years of music education; two of those years at the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago and seven-years of private instruction at Carnevale School of Music.
Neil was graduated from Omega School of Communications receiving a degree in Media/Journalism.
In 1997, Neil was awarded an honorary Doctorate of Letters in Music from Cambridge, England and is currently serving as a special consultant in A&R to a record label in Nashville.
Neil as well as Sunset Promotions was the recipient of numerous music awards including; Record Label and Promoter of the Year Award by the Country Music Associations of America, Grammy Nominations and Eligibilities, and is Writer/Publisher member of ASCAP and Publisher Member of the Harry Fox Agency.
The company holds nine Signatory production licenses with the American Federation of Musicians.
Currently, Neil continues to be active in the studio and is a member of the Nashville Federation of Musicians, Local 257.
Neil is the author of; "The Do's and Don't of the Music Industry", a reference textbook and is in the process of completing his last year of law courses at Blackstone Institute/College of Law.
