Bio

Four years since the last Neil's Children release, founder members John Linger and Brandon Jacobs decamped to southern France to create what they claim to be their best work to date.

The new album 'Dimly Lit' delves deeper into the personal music tastes of the group, pulling together a sound that owes much to their love of psychedelic music past and present, whilst retaining the urgency of their previous work.

Throughout the album there are aural fragments of the sophisticated French pop melodies of Gainsbourg's late 1960s/early 1970s output, alongside the experimentation of groups such as Broadcast, Stereolab and Silver Apples.

The 11 tracks featured on the album draw you through the NC created world of lysergic pop, pushing your ears and senses to the limit while ensuring you stay grounded with beautiful melody.
