"NeLL White Noise Zone"

The record’s producers took the right path highlighting the band’s best features.
In the foreground Bartek Ksiezyk – the lead singer. Correct choice as the guy is most pleasant to listen
to - a strong and resonant voice and perfect diction. Danceable, energetic, perfected
according to recent trends with a hint of electronica - We Are From Poland (www.wearefrompoland.blogspot.com)

"NeLL - White Noise Zone"

Their debut album is definitely going to be mentioned during 2010 music summaries. The band manages
to combine the extreme opposite poles of rock, i.e. melody and catchiness with dirty
and heavy guitars. NeLL sounds convincing both in alternative songs and reaching for
elctro-pop. The group’s unique sound owes a lot to the analog recording equipment. What’s more,
the singer gives a great performance singing both in Polish and in English, with losing
phrases or power of expression - Gazeta Wyborcza

"NELL - "White Noise Zone""

Great lyrics – stories of filling up our heads with wooden emotions, searching different states of
consciousness, shallow and primitive needs. No trivialities, no artificially inflated
balloons, no pathos. Implicitness pleasing to the ear and a vast field of interpretation.
Partly in Polish, partly in first division English. Charismatic vocalist singing with an
attractive manner. Sarcastic and lyrical by turns. Abrasive and calming - onet.pl

NeLL’s carrier starts with the Polish Radio “Offensywa” – a program and a compilation record comprising best young Polish independent artists - with their song Red Ribbons. “Offensywa 2” features NeLL’s Lemon Cold Ice Milk. In 2007, Trojka broadcasts the band’s live performance from the legendary Agnieszka Osciecka studio in Warsaw.

The first single Downwards the city comes out 6 months later. The outing is a precedence as the recording and promotion of the single have been fully financed by fans, and NeLL is the first band in Poland to have collected the necessary money. The manager of the project is megatotal.pl.

In August 2008, NeLL releases “Slightly Dandy” EP. The record is followed by the Dandy FaLL TouR 2008 – 20 shows in Poland and abroad.

The same year NeLL takes part in “Chorzów Metropolis” – a film and music festival. The band performs their extremely well acclaimed original score for the 1927 Fritz Lang’s silent film “Die Nibelungen: Siegfried”.

NeLL shuts off in studio in march 2009. In November, their second, long awaited single comes out – “Katastrofa w nadfiolecie” features the title song, remixes and a music video for Wright. The outing is again financed by fans and managed and promoted by megatotal.pl
