Nelson has recorded one hundred and thirty (130) records in preparation for his 2008 release on the Bad Boy/Atlantic Record label. The album will contain approximately fifteen (15) songs produced by Sean "P.Diddy" Combs, Raphael Saadiq, and Ryan Leslie to name a few.

The world is now a much smaller place and Nelson's listeners are tech savvy teenagers and young adults who are sensitive to social issues changing it. They are eclectic and from a collective community that transcends traditional borders and considers conventional notions of identity irrelevant. They also listen to Alicia Keys, Fall Out Boy, Amy Winehouse, Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, and John Mayer. They attend concerts by artists who typically play an instrument, performs with a band, and is an engrossing live entertainer. They seek out trends before they hit the mainstream and influence youth culture with their cosmopolitan outlook.



His talent and performance are in the company of Alicia Keys and John Mayer. His instruments are lyric, melody, and acoustic guitar. This twenty-year old native of the Bronx, New York and one of P. Diddy’s newest signings continues the legacy of great performing artists. “He’s prolific…way beyond his years,” Mark Pitts, President of Urban Music, Zomba Music Group.

Nelson’s formative years were a continuum of new continents, schools, and friends. Touring the world with his military family, singing and songwriting became the only constant in his life. Described as a music prodigy and influenced by the likes of Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, and a family of musicians, Nelson began pursuing his dream at an early age.

He got his break at age seventeen when he auditioned for multi-platinum selling songwriter/producer Charles Farrar (Boyz 2 Men, Tyrese) at the world famous Sony Recording Studios in New York. Farrar signed him to his Virus Entertainment label and spent the next year polishing him into a teen superstar. The combination landed Nelson and Virus Entertainment a recording/production deal with Sean “P. Diddy” Combs legendary record company, Bad Boy Entertainment.

Nelson is currently working on his debut CD with Sean “P. Diddy” Combs, Ryan Leslie, Raphael Saadiq, and Charles Farrar. His manager, Graffiti Writers LLC Exec Bobby Kennedy shares plans to introduce Nelson to music fans in a very informal way, “Nelson will be performing a unique acoustic set at intimate venues around the world from now until his 2008 record release”. Nelson has performed to great reviews from S.O.B’s and Spotlight Live in New York City to his live acoustic sets at the Sundance Film Festival and VH1 Save the Music Event in Beverly Hills.
