Bio
I was born December 26, 1989. I got intrigued by Smooth Jazz and started playing the Saxophone when I was eleven years old. I remember sitting on the couch when I heard a sound that I thought was beautiful.
When I looked at the TV I saw that it was a man playing a Saxophone. I did not know who the man was, but I knew that the music was beautiful to me and was unlike anything I had heard. From then on it made a huge impact on my life and developed the strong passion for the music that I have today.
In my sixth grade year in school I started playing in the school band. I was in band from sixth grade up to the time I graduated in 2008 from Delta C-7 High School in Deering,Missouri. I made All-Division Band every year of High School. Three years in a row I placed first at the All-District Music Competition in 2006,2007, and in 2008. I also went to a Teen Talent Competition in 2006 and 2007, and placed first, along with over all points. I would describe my sound as contemporary Smooth Jazz, as well as aggressive/smooth, although more on the smooth side.
Some of my major influences would include Gerald Albright, Boney James, Candy Dulfer, Euge Groove, Everett Harp, Paul Taylor, Kenny G, Pieces of a Dream, Brian Culbertson, and Gregg Karukas ect..
I want to continue playing and travel the world to experience more journeys through out the Smooth Jazz Industry.
