Every other Sunday, NTC hosts a new event called the Whiskey Wrangle in which two bands take the stage. It's difficult to call a band country or rock without some preconceived notions getting ahead of the sound. Neo Tundra Cowboy blasts those the notions and swiftly goes back to the pocket where rock 'n roll lives and breathes. Started in Boise, Idaho by singer and songwriter Chris Thompson, the band evolved from a a modest experimental project to a full band that now resides in Nashville, Tennessee. Neo Tundra Cowboy has found an unusual balance of intricate melodies and aggressive rolling rhythms that sound like George Jones and Kurt Cobain doing a side project in hell.
