What started off in 1998 as a jovial conversion with a comrade would lead to one of the most liberating points in N.E.O.'s life.Born Michael Ndah in San Francisco, California to an African couple was raised in the small town of Albany. N.E.O.'s hardship began at a very young age by being the older of two brothers raised by a single mother of foreign decent. Mama Ndah worked two jobs and raised two children while putting herself through school. Their stern and humble upbringing would lead to the success of these two young men. Knowing the importance of retaining strong and deep cultural roots, Mama Ndah moved their family to Cameroon, West Africa when two boys reached adolescent. N.E.O. and brother attended and completed school there. It is here when .E.O.'s true colors began to shine often misread by those around him he became somewhat of a wild child. In an attempt to find his calling, N.E.O. returned with his brother to the States to attend college leaving his family behind in Africa. Neo shifted from career to career such as from professional soccer to car stereo installation to telemarketing to banking. N.E.O. found his turning point when he found the career that would suit his highly energetic and lyrical genius. Exploiting his creative talent N.E.O. stumbled into the world of rap. Named after the ability to revolutionize any moment in time, Michael Ndah turned into N.E.O. with a unique, explosive and bicultural style. N.E.O. found his life, music. Enabling him to unlock this ambitious animal from the cage. ''Can you feel the wrath of this animal man? Straight up out of the mother land with a master plan.'' N.E.O. sociable, charismatic, liberal, and respectful nature would lead him to collaborate with a network of talented musicians. N.E.O. would begin to construct music with a variety of styles.
