Neon Cough is a lively San Diego indie rock band that plays tuneful, genre-bending ballads and uptempo, melodic rock n' roll. Beginning as a recording project for singer/multi-instrumentalist Dan Luko, Neon Cough quickly spun-off into an energetic power trio that is currently making waves in the San Diego music scene. In 2010, the group played at San Diego's North Park Music Thing and ArtWalk on the Bay festivals. In addition, Neon Cough's debut album "Walking Shadow" was nominated for Best Pop Album at this year's San Diego Music Awards. Consisting of Dan (vocals/guitar), Mike Luko (bass) and Joel Jay (drums), Neon Cough performs it's own artfully melodic brand of polished pop gems and stripped-down rock nuggets. They are currently performing around San Diego and can be heard on radio stations throughout Southern California.
