The best kept secret in music
Press
Somewhat similar to Grey Does Matter, Neon Machine play a blend of Power Pop and New Wave. Based in Denmark, the four members of Neon Machine (Lars Vangen Christensen, Kim Bonfils, Morten Johansen, and Claus Rosenblad) present only 3 songs on this debut EP, but have since released two singles Independently (that are only available as imports).
This is excellent New Wave music. The songs combine the guitars and electronics very well, and I haven't heard this good of modern New Wave music since the Probe album. Very, very strong hooks, and the blending of synths into the guitars is done extremely well. About the only weakness here is the occasional tendency for the vocalist to overuse his vibrato a bit, but that's the only issue I could find. It's a shame this band is unsigned, as all three of the tracks are very, very impressive.

Bio
When the National Danish Radio decided to give massive airplay to the idependently financed single "Suzie (Where are You?)" Neon Machine had proof that their formula worked: A cocktail of catchy tunes and danceable rhythms, tightly arranged with a touch of sadness and an unbiased approach to the pop format.
Neon Machine's is known for constantly writing new songs - and relentlessly re-arranging old ones, making each live performance a fresh new experience.
Neon Machine are influenced by bands like New Order, The Strokes, Interpol, Franz Ferdinand.
