"One of Nottingham's most exciting bands who are brimming with potential" - Sandman
"Steeped in the nervy new wave of the late 70s, this is a fine exercise in minimalism" - Q Online
"Nottingham's most recent local boys doing good. Expect to hear throbbing guitars, stadium-sized choruses and a sound so anthemic the likes of Mark Burgess and Carlos Dengler would be proud." - DrownedInSound.com
"Robert Smith vocals welded grainily to the fuselage of a soaring, nu-gaze, Q & Not U-esque ‘does-this-fit-here?’ mentality. And that’s audibly applaudable” - The Fly
“They are really something quite special” - BBC6 Introducing
"Taking a chainsaw to any notion of being labelled twee, 'Should Have Used An Abacus' is weird, angry with a manic depressive energy that makes it utterly unique" - Artrocker

Bio
Nephu Huzzband come from Nottingham and we make noisy, indie-punk. We listen to bands such as …Trail of Dead, At The Drive-in, Black Flag, Die! Die! Die!, Q and not U, Sonic Youth, Frank Zappa and others of a similar vein.
Over the past year we have released 3 singles. All of which received critical acclaim and have been given airplay on national radio stations, including BBC6 and Radio1. The video for our second single, Nurse! Nurse!, was named as a ‘Hot New One’ on MTV2’s MySpace chart and was played on the station’s ‘Gonzo Loves’ programme.
Live, we appeared at Nottingham’s Dot to Dot Festival and the In The City showcase in Manchester and have played support slots for: Hot Club de Paris, No Age, Rolo Tomassi, Dananananaykroyd, Operator Please, Lovvers, Vivian Girls and Awesome Color.
