Toronto based recording artist Nequita Russell is a unique blend of
singer/songwriter whose story telling speaks to the core of emotional
truth. Mixing pop with dance and island rhythms her songs are about
love, reality and living in a world of honest perspective.
Having been a singer since her very early years in South Africa, Nequita has been perfecting her vocal craft ever since picking up a mic. Inspired by many genres from pop to disco to reggae to EDM, Nequita’s music is a reflection of her diverse musical interest.
