Rawtech Productions, Inc. has been working closely with local artists called Neshama Nephesh. Their unique rap style has made believers out of us and we have decided to produce their music. We'll be releasing their CD in late November 2009. Check them out at www.soundclick.com/neshamanephesh.

On May 22, 2009, Neshama Nephesh performed at the Youth Revival of the Fort Foote Baptist Church, Fort Washington, MD. As the youth choir director, I previously received a demo of their music and thought it would be a great idea for them to minister to our youth. The energy and enthusiasm of their performance brought their spiritual message to life for our young people. The gospel rendered in rap was a unique and refreshing vehicle to deliver the salvation story. The music stirred the diverse audience of young and old alike.
Their music spoke of a belief in God and the live performance made you know their commitment was genuine. Neshama Nephesh interacted with the crowd and brought an excitement to their message of hope. The energy they left in the air set a mood of anticipation for the minister to bring the Word of God. The impact of their message was as effective as it was due to the quality of the music, both lyrically and instrumentally. Their professionalism and mannerism was in keeping with the service and they honored our sanctuary. We look forward to having them minister for us again.

Few young people speak with the authority and maturity like Neshama Nephesh. With their Gospel Rap—R&B-flavoured music, Neshama Nephesh is an inspiring talent on today's music scene.
"I want the message in my music to touch everyone in all age groups and genres,” Neshama asserts. “Although we are speaking to all young people, we want to include everyone,” Nephesh asserts. We want people to know that God is all inclusive and present in everyone’s lives.
Neshama Nephesh—Hebrew for Breath of Life is a local brother and sister Christian Rap group in the Waldorf, MD area. Through their strong Christian belief, they have developed a project known as the Christian Rap Movement and their mission is to encourage young peoples’ faith in God and to also let them know that a belief in God is not only necessary, but acceptable and even cool.
Neshama began writing at the age of 8, and began performing professionally at 14. Later her brother Nephesh joined her as back-up and now writes a lot of their songs. They have recently performed at various churches and venues to include their recent appearance at the Gospel House of Praise (GHOP).
Neshama Nephesh’s passion for attracting an audience and vibrant performance skills has resulted in an explosive combination that is consistently pushing them to the forefront of this genre. Their material introduces a unique genre of soulful-jazzy gospel rap with an urban-pop feel. This stems from love and inspiration.
