"Nessacary - The Creative Mastermind"

(unable to copy/paste) at this time. -A.C. - Incline Magazine

Still working on that hot first release.

Recording artist and Houston resident Gwennesia Lillard aka Nessacary is a rapper and singer/songwriter, who recently reminded the music industry that she is her to stay with her “Best Female Artist” win at the 2016 Go DJ Awards at NRG Stadium Houston, in front of an audience 3,000 music fans. The event was broadcast live on 97.9 The Box.

Nessacary’s new single and music video “Fiyah” is just that, pure fire! Nessacary displays her lyrical dexterity, and unbridled urban vernacular, delivered with finesse, yet with maximum energy. At the same time Nessacary showed the world that she is not just a pretty face, evident with her 2015 mixtape “By Any Means Nessacary - Reloaded” hosted by Bigga Rankin, and featuring artists such as Paul Wall “Leanin,” Killa Kyleon “Intro” and Rocko “Bosses Only.”

Nessacary, who was born in Cleveland, Ohio, began writing poetry and dancing in her early teenage years. She was brought up in a relatively strict household and faced bullying in school due to being born with Amniotic Band Syndrome, which can cause a number of defects at birth. Nessacary, however, never let her condition hold her back in any form and grew up happy and confident, in a loving home with her two siblings and parents.

In pursuit of her ambitions, Nessacary joined a number of groups, and even signed with IME Music Group co-founded by Darryl “DMC” McDaniels from the legendary rap group RUN DMC. Being an independent woman, Nessacary knew that she would have to move on to fast track her music career.

In 2008 Nessacary was featured for the first time at the Rebel Army Radio Awards winning “Best Female MC” and in 2010 went on to win a record six awards “Best Female MC,” “Best Female Artist,” “Best Collab,” “Best Female Collab,” “Best Mixed Collab” and “Female Chart Topper” which was totally unprecedented for the Cleveland based internet radio awards program. The following year, Nessacary again, won the 2011 “Best Female Artist” and topped the Rebel Army Radio’s charts with the track “I Say” with rapper Bugatti Butch.

After leaving Cleveland to go to Houston on blind faith to spread her wings, fate would have it that Nessacary would have a chance meeting with her currently label ER Entertainment Music who released her current song and video “Fiyah.”

Now with her goals in clear focus, Nessacary and ER Entertainment are about to bring you “Welcome 2 Houston” in September 2016, featuring Hip Hop legends Paul Wall (Slab God) and Slim Thug (American King).  Stay tuned.
