HALO

Born in 1991, HALO, (real name) Rashaan was born in Providence, Rhode Island. When he was 2 years old his mother handed him over to the state. His father died in a car accident 7 years later leaving him with his new adoptive family and his only biological brother. Growing up in the worst housing project complex in Providence "Chad Brown" it wasn't easy for the black sheep to fend off the wolves; but it was mandatory in order to survive. Listening to rappers like Eminem gave HALO all the belief and comfort he needed to stay strong and keep faith. As HALO calls him "my parent through music". Witnessing a little white guy enter the rap game and destroy anybody who dared to test his talent gave the black sheep more than enough courage. Shortly after graduating High School in 2009, the street life caught up to him and HALO pinned a few new felonies to his record with 2 cases of First Degree Armed Robbery. Having to serve a few months in the Juvenile Correctional Facility of Rhode Island. He then ceased the opportunity to write music to ease his mind and help the time fly by for his stay at the facility. Upon being released, HALO took music a little more serious and started recording at a local studio. Sucked back into the street life once again he was arrested 2 years later for another Armed Robbery but was released on bail due to lack of evidence. After being held in state custody for 2 weeks and almost charged with a capitol crime as an adult this time, the black lamb decided it was either make it rapping...or die trying, Dropping his first mixtape ever "Rhode Highland" in April 2012 with no financial backing nor help from any kind of label he did better than expected. Creating a buzz right before his eyes HALO began to draw more and more people in. Whether it was his artsy body ink, his music, or the lyrics...people started to listen and gravitate towards the city's newest MC and they loved what they were hearing. Now HALO (20 years old) with a few performances under his belt, continues to put all his energy and LIFE into his music with the drive of a Bugatti and the creativity of one on shrooms. Get ready world...there's a +NETWORK WORLD ORDER moving into town.
