Nevada Pilot hit the Perth music scene only a matter of months ago but their work ethic is paying dividends, having recently played alongside the likes of The Jonesez (Vic), The Novocaines, The Floors, The Love Junkies and 44th Sunset. Jumping genres like pirates boarding a laden ship, the boys blend pop, rock, folk, country and grunge like they were all one. Their first official single, Some Other Girl is 1:42 of pure dream-pop, short enough to leave you wanting more. Recorded and produced by Luke Steele (Empire of the Sun) who describes the band as "a unique aesthetic of character, genius but frank, wild but subdued, a voice which tells a million stories".
