Bio

Coming together in 2006, NeverLabeled set out on a mission. A mission to play their brand of metal to the world. A collective of musicians that come from other local bands. Each member has a least 8 years of music experience under their belt. Ranging from other bands to high school band, drumline, church groups, fill in for cover bands, and solo work.
With strong influences from veteran bands such as Slayer, Pantera, Metallica, and up and coming bands Killswitch Engage, Devil Driver, Slipknot, and Mudvayne, NeverLabeled has mixed these influences to create a sound of their own. The result is and energy driven style with harmony and melody. With vocals of Dan Taylor, Justin Harris on drums, Zack Wilson playing bass, and lead guitar of Brandon Pegram, NeverLabeled released a 6-song demo in August of 2006. A full length album can be expected in mid-late 2007.
We try to set ourselves from other bands in a number of ways. Vocals for example. Dan has one of the most blood curdling screams around, yet can sing very well also. He has years of experience singing in other bands and choir work. We try to put some singing lines in our songs were the lyrics need to be heard and understood. He doesn't just use one style throuhgout a song. We also have guitar solos in our songs where they are needed. Alot of new bands have gotten away from play leads. Not us, that is what made heavy metal what it is. Justin is a very experienced drummer from all sorts of genres. He has been involved in percussion since grade school. Justin stayed with his love of drumming all through high school, playing in a very successful drum line and marching band. He was the knowledge and technical skill to write drum beats that most people couldn't even imagine playing
The bands goal is to play as many venues in as many places as possible. They are eager to meet new influential bands and any other acquaintances that are associated with the music industry, while having a great time doing what they enjoy most, playing music.
