"Shepherd Express Critic's Choice"

For a taste of acoustic gone loud, Neverstatic does away with the bother of amps and all those tangled cords while maintaining a true rock band feel. Guitars, drums, mandolin and cello come together for a sound that is as bone-jarring as any full-blown, plugged-in act on the circuit. Known for their energetic live performances, Neverstatic are a sure bet for a night of foot-stompin' fun... - by Brian Barney

"Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Taking it to the next level"

Proving unplugged doesn't always mean quiet or mellow, the rootsy Milwaukee quintet rocks out with acoustic instruments. - by Gemma Tarlach

" Goodbye Milwaukee; Hello Detroit"

Horns weren’t the only instruments vying for attention during a guitarfest. Neverstatic took the stage with a cello in lieu of a bass player, as well as a mandolin. I’ve got two things to say about these guys (and gals):
1: Judging by the rabid applause after even one of your songs, I seriously doubt I was the only one impressed that night with your songs and abilities, and
2: You’ve got balls. It can’t be easy to take your music on stage in front of an audience more accustomed to something else. Balls indeed. - by James Pennypacker

The final band was Neverstatic, a reinvigorated band with a new line-up. They’re an acoustic-rock band that features two cello players giving the band a deep and dark ambience, although the sound guy didn’t really find a niche for them in the mix until the third song.

Jordan again shows his talents, this time on electric bass, with his fellow Downrazor bandmate Heath playing 12-string acoustic guitar. Their new singer Amanda has excellent stage presence, playful and bordering on flirty, with a voice to match. She blends with the band well, despite little slips into a style that may be too soulful (think Christina Aguilera). Neverstatic was highly entertaining and could definitely be placed in the “up and coming” category. - by Andy Zupke

"Shepherd Express"

Linneman’s Riverwest Inn presents Neverstatic. The band is an acoustic powerhouse. Two cellos, guitar, bass and plenty of percussion culminate for a sound that has shades of acts such as Tool. Although they perform largely unplugged, this is deeply passionate music. The obvious rock influence takes music without high-wattage amplification to a place where headbangers and hippies can find common ground. - by Brian Barney

Neverstatic plays powerful, acoustic rock music. But make no mistake; this is no sittin’ down, coffee house, folk rock, jam band. They bring the attitude and energy of a full-fledged, “plugged-in” band to every song and every show. The music sparkles and shimmers on one end, and twists into a deep, melancholy cavern on the other. Lyrically, they are both visual and emotional. With their unusual instrumentation set against their musical style, they turn heads where-ever they play. They are rock without the amps.
