Last year four Dallas musicians got together to form New Years Day dfw; a tribute to U2. Their plan is to perform a fun tribute to the music of U2, the iconic Irish rock band. This project showcases the lifelong love of U2 by our "Edge", Dr. Tom Katsadas. He has driven this band to bring to life the great songs that we all know and start singing when we hear it in on radio, tv or movies and in clubs, pubs and taverns. Our "Bono", Walter Webb a veteran of the Dallas music scene, brings you the memories of these great songs and you just start singing along. Robbie Terry ("Adam Clayton") on the bass, recreates that iconic bottom end that tells the tale. Tying it all together is David Knight on the drums playing the signature beats that Larry Mullen brilliantly laid down to propel stories.
