Bio

We are four very different people that mesh well as friends and as a band. Andrew and I (Adam) are 24, Kyle's 22, and Joe is 18. Kyle and I went to high school together and met Andrew in college at The University of Alabama. The three of us met Joe through his older brothers that we met at UA while he was finishing high school. Overall, our influences vary greatly. I grew up listening to Earth, Wind and Fire, Michael Jackson, and all of the bands from the 80s and 90s. Andrew grew up on Bruce Springsteen and The Rolling Stones. Kyle gets his guitar-playing influence from Bayside, Anberlin, and U2. Joseph is a big fan of Manchester Orchestra, Mae, and death metal, which has influenced his drumming. Mix this melding of sounds together and you get us.

We have been a band since September 2011, and over the past year we have spent hundreds of hours honing down on our sound, writing music, and performing at every opportunity.
While in Tuscaloosa, we played house shows, benefit shows, and played main stage at Druid City Arts Fest (DCAF), the annual weekend-long music and arts festival in Tuscaloosa in the spring. We also released our debut EP that semester.

Over the summer we moved to Nashville after months of discussing what our next step should be. Our first show was as the headliner on a Friday night at Mercy Lounge, which was lucky. We have since played at "New Faces Night" at 'The Basement', 'The Well' in Knoxville, TN, and have shows coming up at 'The 5 Spot' in East Nash and 'Mercy Lounge' for "8 off 8th." We also had to cancel a show at 'The Attic' in Nashville because Joe's appendix almost ruptured and he had to have surgery instead!

We were nominated for "Artist of the Month" by Nashville's branch of The Deli Magazine, and won with 68% of the vote!

The four mugs in the top banner are us.

We recorded "Bells" and "Sad Eyes" in October 2012, and will be recording two more of our new ones, "Party Dress" and "I Know It", November 12-13th.

Other relevant information: We like Fall, Westerns, and Reese's peanut butter cups.
