New Noise Standard, the rapidly emerging rock quintet from Dallas Texas, is the band to watch this year . Driven by riveting live shows and the undeniable charisma of their frontwoman, Missy salaam, they have captivated an ever-increasing following. In the process of recording their first full-length album with Tomas Costanza (Chamberlain Records, Hollywood Records, Geffen) they announce that they have the talent, the passion, and the songs to take themselves to the next level.

The band’s rise has been the result of consistent hard work since Missy first formed the band 3 years ago. It wasn't until after adding guitar player Jacy Bellew that New Noise Standard began raising eyebrows and attracting the attention of Venues like House of Blues and festivals like Sunfest. After Mike Wolfe joined on as bass player, Rocko joined on drums, and Alex Boling joined as a second guitar player, NNS solidified themselves as a musical force on the Dallas scene. After just a few months together, the band had their first big break in May 2008, when they played with The Academy Is, Good Charlotte, Natasha Bedingfield, Black Crowes, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, and Fergie at Sunfest in Florida. They also recently signed a promising licensing deal with the prestigous BK Entertainment group in L.A.

Through their presence and their dedication, NNS landed and Artist Development Deal with Tomas Costanza and begin work on their full-length album this fall. As the music takes on a richer, deeper without sacrificing any of the melodicism or upbeat standard that has been their trademark.

New Noise Standard brings intelligent words, contagious melodies, and fun back to the music scene. All five members have fused their different musical styles and tastes to form a cohesive unit. Radio Ready tunes flow freely, and are enhanced by a fun stage show. You don't want to miss this band, stay tuned for the release of the album and what is sure to be an action packed tour to follow.
