Take groovey beats, hard hitting riffs, a kickin' high-energy live show and three guys from Peterborough, Ontario and what do you get? A band with a fresh take on classic rock that combines catchy melodic hooks with the attitude of AC/DC and the funk of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Comprised of guitarist / vocalist Devin McManus, bassist Dawson McManus, and drummer Ben Smith the trio have been rocking clubs and resorts in Ontario and Quebec since March 2006. In that time New Speak has developed a repertoire of 50+ cover songs, have recorded four original songs and had their first single “Back Seat Lovin” debut on The Wolf 101.5 FM.
