Butally Honest EP (2012)

Feeling a bit camera shy

Next To Nothing is a pop/punk band formed during the summer of 2011 in the small town of Smithsburg Maryland. Inspired by local talent, the band decided to create a pop/punk breed of their own. Bringing together four unlikely acquaintances, guitarist and singer Keller Nigh; bassist and vocalist Sean Scott; guitarist Andrew Lewis: and drummer Connor Brown were able to combine backgrounds in jazz, blues, funk, metal, and various other genres with an influence from bands such as All Time Low, Relient K, We Are The In Crowd, Cartel, Paramore, Mayday Parade, and A Day To Remember to create a sound of their own. Starting out as a cover band, they quickly realized what they really wanted was to write and record their own music. Diving head first into writing new music, the band was quickly able to produce a number of songs that formed the unique sound they were looking for. The band is currently recording their album, Brutally Honest, with former guitarist of I, The Breather Jered Youngbar. Through Brutally Honest the band hopes to showcase their in your face lyricism, blues influenced solo work, and the unique voice of singer Keller Nigh. The band has begun playing shows on the east coast and hopes to eventually have an international presence in the music business. Numerous online radio sites and music blogs have featured Next To Nothing including DJDJ Radio and Break It Down Magazine and have noted them as a promising up and coming band. The band continues to grow and hopes to one day be playing alongside the very bands that influenced them from the beginning.
