Next 2 the Tracks is rooted in the heart of the Southwest. All four members came together in El Paso TX beginning in the fall of 2003, and have been making great music eversince. The band has an image that fits their west Texas background and no current genre. Their sound shows the influence of some of the best rock music of the last four decades, mixed with the bands latino roots. Next 2 the Tracks features Christian Talamantes (lead vocals), Tony Sanchez (lead guitar), Jay Trevizo (bass guitar) and Isai Mata (drums). Next 2 the Tracks independently released their debut album "Rain" in 2004 and went on to win the Best Pop/Rock band award at the 2004 New York International Music Festival. Currently Next 2 the Tracks is in pre-production for a new album set for release early next year that will feature well know L.A. producer Dave Dominguez best known for his work with Weezer, Staind, Papa Roach and Guns & Roses.
