Next Weeks Blues

At the helm is singer Linda Farley. Linda has a background in singing as a solo singer in festivals, churches, musical dramas,etc. She has sang various music styles including Christian music, country, rock, and blues, Early influences include such artists as Linda Rondstat, Pat Benetar and later influences such as Reba Mcentire, Martina Mcbride, Etta James, and Stevie Nicks. Quite a different variety of influences. On lead guitar there's Dennis Lighthart. Dennis Has been playing guitar for many years and worked his way through college playing music. He's played with many musicians and singers including " goober" from the Andy Griffin show. His influences range from BB King , Otis Redding, Buddy Guy, and many more. On drums is Tom Williams . Tom has played drums for many years and is multi - talented singing back up vocals and some lead, and has a background in music and drama, previously performing in the drama " unto these hills " in Cherokee, NC. He played in another band " Rising Tide " with Dennis, before joining the next weeks blues band. The bands newest addition ,Michael Huffman plays bass. Michael played guitar on his church's worship team and also plays in a solo music venture outside of the band. He brings a lot to the next weeks blues band. Next weeks blues music is unique and has a distinct sound. They love what they do !
