Bio
Nia began writing songs at only 8 years of age. By the time she was just 13, the young prodigy had filled volumes with her music. Initially leading worship in her father’s church alongside her mother, in Maine at 12, Nia began volunteering at The Potter’s House Church at 13 as an Audio-Visual Technician for the PHTV Department, when the family relocated to Texas. Serving on their behalf in the Firehouse Youth Ministry and later the Destiny World Children’s Ministry, Nia’s gift for worship was soon discovered and further developed by Cristy Cook Templeton at 15. Cristy would train Nia to take over her position, when she and her husband were called later to start a church. Nia served faithfully as a volunteer for several years until she was offered a staff worship leader and church band member position. Becoming a licensed minister at 20, Nia contributed not only as a worship leader and guitarist, but also as a songwriter and children’s choir director. Nia was a part of the team honored to record with Planet Shakers. She performed with the Firehouse Praise Team on JUCE TV LIVE in California. She is a founding member of The Bridge, under the direction of Thaddeus Tribbett, and a regularly featured worship artist for Pastor Cora Jakes Coleman’s Prayer Challenge. Recently led of The Lord to step out on faith to focus more on God’s unique ministry through her, being to “Give people God,” Ms. Green has released her debut EP simply entitled, Nia, and a Single entitled, Eternity. All of which can be purchased on iTunes, Amazon, and Google Play. So, get your copy today!
