A sound so melodic, so soulful, so eclectic and full of passion and purpose…a style so powerful it reaches audiences of all kinds could only be seen as a gift…or in short, the music stylings of Nialand. A self-proclaimed creative “weirdo”, her gift is full of color, truth, soul, experience, and a bit of edge, delivered in a plethora of harmonies and smooth tones that set her apart from many other artists.  Influenced by classic Hip Hop, Jazz, and Soul Music, Nialand puts her heart, her story, and her truth in her music to present this cool, unique blend that reaches all who hear it. Nialand conveys that it is not only alright but necessary to live in truth and honesty.  In her words, she expresses her personal healing, learning, vulnerability and faith to encourage others to express and embrace the same.

As a result of dealing with rejection, trying to move forward and being overlooked because she wasn’t the standard of what was excelling in the music industry, Nialand began to build her own brand. Taking on the challenge of being an independent artist long before it was acceptable to do so, Nialand has obtained the tools to fully function not only as an artist, but as a professional.  Nialand always makes time to give back with it all, as she uses the skills and tools acquired over the years to consult and mentor up and coming artists and entrepreneurs to help them develop their brand through her company, DreamLoud Coaching. Her drive has led to many successes. What was meant to be a single performance turned into a four-year long tour as official vocalist and hype girl to Hip Hop legend, MC Lyte.  Early in her career her writing caught the attention of then Chicago producer, now executive VP of Def Jam Records, No ID which lead to the release of “Let it Ride”, a single on her debut album “Next in Line: The Project”.  She has also went on to work with Chico Debarge, Lupe Fiasco, R. Kelly, Rhymefest, Malik Yusef, Kanye West, J. Ivy, Tarrey Torae Christopher Williams, Elzhi, Roy Ayers and many more.  Nialand has performed all over the country in intimate settings as well as arenas of thousands.

While Nialand is no doubt extremely talented and proud of her gift she maintains that her success is attributed to her relationship with God who spoke the dream of music to her long ago.  “It’s truly a blessing, it’s nothing that I did on my own.  He loaned it to me to take care of and make good use of it.  So in His honor I release my honesty in hopes to inspire and encourage others”.  This position plays a large part in the way she can creatively connect her faith to her music, relating to those that experience it and stamping her gift as truly purposeful and powerful. Nialand also strives to be an example of a work in progress for youth, young ladies as well as help them know their power, their worth and their presence. Each of her self-produced shows are always connected to a cause or purpose that allows her to use her platform to make a difference.  Her music should be shared with the world, and it will as she is set to go on her first international tour in the fall of 2016.

Nialand’s official website is She’s on social media as @NialandMusic and her music is available on iTunes, GooglePlay and all other digital media stores worldwide.
