Nica Nashae

Hailing from a state that’s no stranger to the music scene emerges 24-year-old R&B songstress, Nica Nashae, who is quickly proving to be a vocal powerhouse alongside her musical influences Beyonce, Brandy, Aaliyah, Whitney Houston and others. The Corpus Christi, Texas native moved to the small town of Milledgeville, GA, just 2 hours south of southern music capital, Atlanta, GA, with her parents at a young age and has since dedicated her vocal talent to fulfilling the legacy of her deceased father, who was a contemporary gospel singer.  Determined to finish what her father started and an ultimate goal of providing for her family, Nashae has traveled the nation seizing various performance opportunities to pursue her life-long love affair with  music, including winning a national competition to perform with Grammy Award-winning artist Chris Brown, appearing on BET’s 106 & Park, honoring our nation through her touching rendition of the National Anthem at local sporting events, and advancing through numerous audition rounds on popular talent search shows American Idol & X-Factor.

 Nashae’s mezzo-soprano range and vocal delivery is incomparable beyond measure to her musical peers and is fiercely forcing itself to the surface of the ever-changing music industry as a voice to be reckoned with for decades to come.  Cognizant of the path that fellow Texas-based group, Destiny’s Child, has paved for her career in the sphere of R & B music, Nica Nashae promises to follow through in giving both Texas & Atlanta renown as producing yet another generation of R & B royalty.
