"Do what you enjoy"

Brouwer is a veteran of the indy music scene. He's been playing in different bands for roughly the last decade and a half.

But the last little while he has been concentrating on a solo album under the name The Timeless. The album called 'Upside Down' runs the gamut as far as musical styles. Emulating the diverse groups that Brouwer has played in over the years...
...He tries to give a message of hope and preaches that everyone should chase after whatever it is, they are looking for.
"Do what you love to do," he said. "If I can be that example and show people that I'm just a regular guy going around with my family, playing coffeehouse shows and people enjoy it, I enjoy doing it, then how much better could I be using my life?" - Lloydminster Source

"It's time for The Timeless"

Brouwer's first solo album, released last July, continues to resonate with a broad audience with its eclectic and original sound.

A second album and other projects are already in the works for The Timeless...
...Be sure to check out The Timeless' energetic, acoustic, folk-rock... - Lloydminster Source

Bio

I play folk with a rock edge. I haven't found a crowd yet that didn't enjoy my songs; young and old alike.

I have played in several bands and released several albums with Rebozo and Starving Zealots. I also released a couple albums as a solo act, but under project names, first as A Temple Burns and then as The Timeless. I built The Timeless into a full band and we toured Western Canada a few times, but have now decided just to go solo again.

I am about 75% done recording a full length album, it was originally being recorded to release as The Timeless' sophomore album, but now will be my debut.
