Bio

With a sound like no other, it comes as no surprise that NICCO, a vocalist, songwriter, and electrifying performer, is taking the music scene by storm. Having started singing reggae at the young age of 12, NICCO made his way to New York City to launch his music career. First, he blazed up the dancehall scene with his unique, stylistic blend of sweet vocals with fast, rough chanting and an energetic performance. A range from straight dancehall to roots reggae with smooth singing and soca music, NICCOS music is not your average reggae. Embracing not only Caribbean crowds, but appealing to the masses, NICCO was immediately invited to perform at the hottest Caribbean spots in Brooklyn's Flatbush area and top venues in Manhattan. Branching out from New York, NICCO has electrified the music world in Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, India, Italy, and Japan. Performing all over the world, NICCO has been featured at venues likes Nells, KC's Hideaway, The Carib, Tracks, and in Los Angeles at the annual UCLA Reggae Festival, Key Club, Club XS, Level One, Kingston Live, and Jamaica Live. With music like none other, his distinctive sound of rough chanting and sweet singing is adored by crowds around the world. Catching the eyes and ears of the major promoters, he has opened for artists like Kevin Lyttle, Buju Banton, Assasin, Macka diamond, Red Fox, Screechie Don and Mr. Easy. He was also seen mashin' up the Annual Washington DC Carnival on Pennsylvania Avenue, as he blessed the stage, and opened for the Soca King, Arrow. NICCO has been featured on compilation albums with artists such as Bunji Garlin, Maximus Dan, Benjie, Dawg-E-Slaughter and shares a song with artist Jade from, Sweetbox whose album went platinum. In addition to albums, NICCO can be heard on top videogames like NBA Street 3 and The Sims. When asked how he got into this world of reggae/dancehall music, he replied, Its just the love for the music mon. Me cyant stop! I need it and I need to sing it. Humble, energetic and down to earth, NICCO currently resides in Los Angeles and New York City, performing and honing his unique style and craft, while his music can be heard at clubs, on the radio, and music venues world wide.
