Bio

Australian Singer/Songwriter Nicholas (Nic) Hamilton first started working in the entertainment industry in 2011, when he was just 11 years old. After playing Nicole Kidman's son in Australian feature film Strangerland, Nic portrayed Rellian in the 2016 Oscar-Nominated US feature film, Captain Fantastic, alongside Viggo Mortensen. While he was unaware, this is when Nic would get his first taste of the music industry, as the family of 6 siblings and their lone father in the film are all musically gifted.

Rellian's instrument of choice was the cajon, a tool in which Nicholas utilised his 10 years of drumming experience in order to play. Nic's first feature was in a track for the film, an angelic cover of Guns n' Roses' hit track Sweet Child O Mine, which has garnered over 3.4m streams on Spotify alone.

After starring as Henry Bowers in the film adaptation of IT (2017), Nicholas started pursuing more music-related endeavours. However, it wasn't until he linked up with guitarist and fellow Australian Ben Kuhl in September of 2018, that he started hitting his musical stride.
After their first three covers of Isn't She Lovely, Hallelujah and Valerie all gained over 110,000 views a piece on Instagram, Nic and Ben started to write music of their own.

At the start of 2019, Nicholas moved to Los Angeles, CA at the age of 18. He, almost immediately, dove into music, writing countless amounts of songs in order to develop and perfect his sound. The year 2020, especially, has gifted Nic with a lot of downtime, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. He has used this time to continue to write and perfect compositions and plan their eventual release.

The first of these originals is expected to be released sometime in 2020.

Nic currently has over 750,000 followers on Instagram and Twitter combined, a large portion of whom have expressed that they can't wait for Nic to release some music of his own. Nic hopes to get these tracks to his devoted fans sooner, rather than later.
