Nicholas Armand

Nicholas Armand, a North Carolina (USA) based DJ, incorporates elements of electro house, funky breaks, hip-hop, Miami bass and even some freestyle into his unique DJ style. His crowd-intuitive track selections fill dance floors across the Southeast. With a passion for Electronic Dance Music (EDM) driving him, he continues to evolve his style and push the boundaries each and every time he steps into the booth.

Growing up in Florida, Nicholas Armand was surrounded by the sounds of electronic music, more specifically "Florida Breaks" or "Funky Breaks". The electronic sounds captivated him and his passion for music grew and at the age of 18 when he became "legal" to enter a club, his passion elevated to a new level. From that point, Nicholas Armand would begin to blend the various music genres to create his own unique sounds that now allow him to electrify the senses of club-goers on any dance floor he performs for.

In North Carolina, Nicholas Armand has held a number of residencies at various nightlife spots and a radio mixshow. 2009-2010 has been a break out year for Nicholas Armand, performing opening sets for such industry massives as Benny Benassi, DJ Icey, Noel Sanger, DJ HeavyGrinder, Blake Jarrell and others.

2010-2011 will mark the start of Nicholas Armand's production career. Staying true to his DJ roots, he will not abandon his live shows, but instead incorporate his own remixes and originals into his sets.

With a lot in the works for the upcoming year look for Nicholas Armand in multiple locations up and down the east coast.
