"American Pie Star in Denmark"

Thomas Ian Nicholas is perhaps not the majority so much but if we say 'American Pie'
you may recognize him as the sweet Kevin Meyers, one of the main roles, which he
had in the first three films. It is not a bad start when one has other talents. His debut
album Without Warning was released in January 2008. The singer / songwriter rock
album where rock legends as Bruce Kulick (KISS), Chris Chaney (Janes Addiction) and
John Corabi (Motley Crüe) are guest musicians and he has subsequently during 2008
played over 100 concerts in the USA. Inspiration comes in particular from the
prominent bands and musicians as Bruce Springsteen and Counting Crows. By itself,
he has his musical partner Venice Maki.

Venice Maki is the singer / songwriter - self-taught guitarist and pianist. Born in Zaire,
Africa and escaped to Bethesda Maryland, USA from dictator Mobutu. When he was
17 years he came to a watershed moment in life: having to choose between being
world class footballer or musician. He chose music and has since played countless
concerts both as a head-lines and support for particular Collective Soul, The Calling,
Kenny Loggins, Colin Hay, Mozella, The knack and Eddie Money. The two musicians
complement each other really nice when they take turns playing each other songs.
Venice has a very soft and nice voice, but Thomas has a more raw and rock vocals.
When they play their songs, you can really feel that it means something to them and
the audience get a really good experience. There's even the opportunity to sing a
little on a couple of cover songs, if you feel like it.

You can still manage to catch them around in Denmark. It can be clearly
recommended if you want to experience the delicious guitar music in the best singer
/ songwriter style, while having the possibility of meeting two very nice guys

Thomas Ian Nicholas - "Without Warning"

Nicholas & Maki musical styles stems from listening to Bruce Springsteen to U2 to Dave Matthews to John Mayer.

Thomas Ian Nicholas has been, is, and to some degree will always be known as Kevin from the "American Pie" movies. That's right, he was that nice kid, that wholesome kid ... that kid who got to make out with Tara Reid. Whereas to most young men the idea of living with that identity is not such a bad proposition, Nicholas has the desire, not to mention the talent, to be so much more. Which brings us to the present day, mere months after the release of Nicholas’ debut album, Without Warning (released nationwide on January 15, 2008). It’s an upbeat, “O.C.”-worthy album of pop-rock filled with more hooks than a bait shop. It features collaborations with rock legends like Bruce Kulick (KISS), Chris Chaney (Jane’s Addiction) and John Corabi (Mötley Crüe). And it could melt the hearts of today’s TRL-loving teens faster than you can say, “John Mayer.” Having performed over a hundred concerts, Thomas has opened for Ben Harper, Kenny Loggins, Mandy Moore, Jefferson Starship and the Blues Traveler in 2008.

Venice Maki is a national recording artist signed to UFO/Ryko Disc (Warner Bros). A singer/songwriter, self taught guitarist, and pianist who has performed for hundreds of colleges/universities and continues to be invited to perform at regional and national conventions. Maki’s music has been heard on film, tv, and radio throughout the United States and Europe. He has entertained audiences of all ages and moved audiences of 8,000. Venice has performed at the Orange County Fair, Temecula Balloon & Wine Festival, Boulder’s Memorial Festival, Seattle’s fisher Pavilion & Key Arena, House of Blues in Las Vegas and Hollywood, Hard Rock Casino, plus many many more venues. Venice has opened for Collective Soul, The Calling, Kenny Loggins, Colin Hay, Mozella, The knack, Eddie Money just to name a few.
