BandRock

Basically instrumental rock. I have this thing for playing guitar as the lead part for expression. I think that a guitar can be just as expressive as any lyrics. I guess this is mainly guitar driven, aggressive music unlike anything you will hear on the radio.

Biography

I started jamming with a lot of different people to get a heavy rock feel. The biggest problem is that alot of bands today are moving further into the heavier rock arena but are putting technical playing and harmonies of to the side. Not ragging on any styles of music or anything, i just always found expressive and different players more inspiring than bands who just shred mindlessly. Because of this, i have found myself playing songs where the guitar is back up at the forefront but carries out the melodies and nuances. There are lots of players who do this, but they dont exactly get all the credit they deserve. Guys like Vai, Becker, Friedman, Malmsteen and Gilbert are huge influences on my playing style and attitude. To get my own sound and feel i started recording at home, eventually developing entire songs through jam sessions with me and my computer.
