"Music Connection Magazine"

"Seattle singer/songwriter Deonigi is a confident, assured recording artist whose work sometimes reflects the sombre side of Matchbox 20. We're talking earnest, soul-searching music that might put the boys to sleep — but get the girls in bed — as Deonigi's wounded introspection and his tremulous vocals will appeal to the female listener, especially the confessional "Breakdown." This artist's moody sincerity and fine production value should also play well with music supervisors." - Music Connection Magazine

Bio

For over 10 years Seattle based singer/songwriter Nick Deonigi has been relying on the allure of distinctly unique vocals, heartfelt lyrics and crafty songwriting to entertain audiences in a multitude of venues ranging anywhere from small intimate coffee houses and wine bars to larger venues such as Seattle’s Showbox Sodo Lounge and the Hard Rock Café. Recently Nick extended his reach on a national tour performing near 40 shows spanning halfway across the country and back. After the release of his debut record “Miles and Minutes” Nick received a favorable review in L.A.’s Music Connection Magazine quoting him as a “confident and assured recording artist whose music sometimes reflects the somber side of Matchbox Twenty.” Music Connection also labeled his music as “earnest and soul searching with a high production value.” That same value landed Nick’s original tune “Good For Something” a placement in an episode of a primetime television show on ABC.

The diversity of Nick’s music spans from delicately finger picked solo acoustic performances to full out rock/pop ensembles stretching his appeal to a wide range of listeners. Never straying too far from catchy hooks and appealing melodies Nick’s style spans the board combining elements of rock, pop, folk, hip hop and jazz often drawing comparisons to modern artists such as Rob Thomas (Matchbox Twenty), Jason Mraz and Matt Kearney. Whether he’s on stage alone or backed by some of the finer session musicians Seattle has to offer Nick’s live shows keep you entertained with just the right mix of honest sincerity, comedic banter and memorable melodies.
