Nick Doneff

     Sincere, direct, relatable. It's almost as if you're at the bar having a talk over a couple of drinks. That's the approach that has been catching listeners hook, line, and sinker at Nick Doneff's shows since day one.

      Matched by an honest and vulnerable vocal style, a friendly stage presence, and an understated command over his guitar, Nick gives listeners a glimpse of an old soul trapped in a young man's body.

     Born in Fort Erie, Ontario, Nick's musical upbringing was steeped in classic Country & Western, early Rock & Roll, Rhythm & Blues, Folk, and Singer-Songwriter. He quietly made his rounds through countless stages, clubs, and music venues between Niagara and Toronto as a sideman and since 2004. After relocating to Charlottetown in 2013, he emerged under his own name and quickly began making his mark as a fresh new singer/songwriter. All the while, he has remained busy as an in-demand sideman for top-rate PEI artists such as NUDIE, Liam Corcoran, and Meaghan Blanchard.

     While living in Ontario, Nick studied jazz guitar at Humber College where he earned a Bachelor of Music degree with honours. He has worked regularly as a freelance session player on various stringed instruments for many artists from Canada and abroad.
