Bio
What words can be used to describe singer/songwriter Nick Eden? Driven/Talented/Determined. Gulfport, Miss. native Nick Eden got his start as most do, in the church. "For the longest, all I could remember was singing on Sunday mornings. Nothing else mattered." That love for song landed him a music scholarship to Alabama State University in Montgomery, Ala. For years Nick put in work writing for independents across the southeast, and eventually joined the southern R&B powerhouse group YNOT. With YNOT, Nick enjoyed international success as the group made headlines in the south as well as Europe and Asia. In the middle of 2005 Nick Eden returned to his hometown of Gulfport, Miss. to treat an injury, and was greeted with the most devastating force to ever hit the Gulf Coast: Hurricane Katrina. After Katrina, Eden moved back to Montgomery where he was introduced to Multi-Platinum Producer, Kevin "KHAO" Cates (T.I., Young Jeezy, Paul Wall, R. Kelly). Now living in Atlanta, GA, Nick Eden previously worked as a songwriter for Cates' production company Intaprize/GTT Entertainment, as well established his own publishing company 1106 Productions. He has written for artists such as: American Idol 3 winner Ruben Studdard, Canadian pop singer Cindy Gomez (Decibel/Atlantic Records), Actor/Singer Ashley Phillips of the Nickelodeon show "Romeo", Justin Timberlake's: My Grammy Moment finalist Africa Miranda, and a host of others. 2008 is the year for Nick Eden.
