Ministry Statement:

Although concerned with the welfare of all people, the main goal of my ministry is to comfort the souls of those suffering addiction, searching for an unknown force to end their miseries and self loathing. Not specifically to end their dependence, (though of course that is the desired outcome) but to re-assure them that with proper repentance, their addictions will not cost them their place in eternity. To quote our Lord in the Gospel of St. Mark 7:18

“Are ye so without understanding also?
Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him.”

Also St. Matthew 15:10

“Hear, and understand: not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.”

If a respected authority tells a person that because they use drugs they are wicked, scumbag, lawbreakers, they will believe it and act accordingly. This is a great and increasing problem that has turned people from “the girl next door” into “the prostitute on the corner.” It is my vision that many of these same victims be transformed by the word of God and one day use their addictions for Gods intended purpose, serving the Law of Love.

The Religious Society of Friends, also known as “Quakers”, were nick-named so due to the trembling or “quaking” by members at their meetings when an emotional speaker was moved by the spirit, and later because the founder George Fox told a Judge and the people present to, “Quake at the word of the Lord,” when he was falsely imprisoned for blasphemy. Now, over 300 years later, a new voice rises from this tradition of spiritual conviction and brotherhood.
Seeing his hometown of Quakertown, PA fall short of the glory of its name by being taken with arrogance, godlessness, and hard-core drug abuse,( being himself taken by these things), a then 14 year old Nickelbags, born Nicholas John Scott, started to rap and produce Hip-Hop beats as a past time hobby and a possible career. Fueled with violence, drug abuse, intentional blasphemy, and sexual perversion, his early recordings were a far cry from Christian. That all changed in the summer of ’01.
Emotionally upset after the death of his grandfather 6 months earlier, and struggling to reconcile the hope of his soul’s survival with his previous atheistic rejection of the faith he was raised in, Nickelbags received a “slap in the face” from the Holy Spirit. From that day forward Nickelbags has dedicated his life and his talents to delivering the message God has given him to America and the world, hoping to bring atheists, drug addicts, and even self proclaimed Christians back to the core truths offered in the greatest symphony ever composed, the Bible.
