"There Goes Nick Again- Nick London"

In early May, Nick London introduced himself to The DJBooth with reader-approved mixtape leak Molly Water. Today, he’s back with the follow-up, appropriately titled There Goes Nick Again. Featuring visuals by Jordan Stavrev, the cut finds the Miami representative shedding a little light on the motivations behind his hustle. Feeling this introspective jam? More awaits on London’s Game, scheduled for digital release in the near future. - djbooth.net

"Nick London- Molly Water"

A buzzmaking emcee hailing from Miami, Fla., Nick London makes his swagger-drenched entrance into The DJBooth with the lead single selection off his next street album. On Molly Water, The R.E.G.I.M.E. percussion-driven club boardwork bangs in the back as the emcee celebrates the energizing (and aphrodisiac) effects of his favorite party fuel. Still thirsty? More awaits on Nick’s London’s Game tape, produced entirely by R.E.G.I.M.E. The project has yet to receive a solid drop date, but fans can keep their browsers locked for the latest news and tunes. In the meantime, click here to peep the record’s official video. - djbooth.net

"Nick London talks “Molly Water,” readying London’s Game"

Nick London’s single “Molly Water” has been getting plenty of spins online and RapMusic recently chopped it up with the Florida rapper about the song and his upcoming project titled London’s Game. Like the title of song implies, London tells us “Molly Water” was inspired by experimenting with a popular party stimulant.

“The idea for “Molly Water” came to me-dare I say-naturally. I mean, I grew up in Miami- a city that is infamous for its club/party scene, and as a result of the party scene, I found out about all these things people are taking at these parties,” London explained. “Some people do it to keep them going, while some just do it to have a bit more fun…I guess it all depends how hard you party though. Anyway, a couple days before sitting down and actually writing the song, I was at a party and was introduced to the idea that you can drop “Molly” (the slang term for MDMA) into a drink-any drink-and you would feel the effects kick in harder than by just consuming it.”

“I tried it and as soon as I did I thought of the phrase “Molly Water” although I dropped it in a cup of Henny and Coke. As soon as I began writing the song and really feeling the production of it, I thought of actually dropping the phrase on a song, seeing as I had never heard anyone rap about this before,” London added. “I mean, whether or not you f**k with “Molly,” it is being used all over the world and I have never been too shy on talking or rapping about drugs.”

“Molly Water” will appear on London’s upcoming album London’s Game which is slated for release later this year. “London’s Game is essentially a collaboration project between myself and the production team The R.E.G.I.M.E. I truly consider them a super-music production team,” said London. “We linked up while going to school in Gainesville, Florida after a chick I used to f**k with showed them some of my stuff, and they were impressed. As soon as we got together and heard each other’s work we decided that we should create a full-blooded EP instead of working on a couple of songs together. We have been working closely together ever since to bring the Hip-Hop world some high-quality material and I haven’t looked back yet.” - rapmusic.com
