Bio

Nick’s MySpace webpage has received over 75,000 plays in just 3 months. Like Johnny Cash, Nick attracts an audience that ranges from country music lovers to devotees of death metal. Nick has over 8,300 fans on his MySpace page. Nick’s European Management Agency, Point2Point Management is currently negotiating a Major Label deal in Europe.

Nick has been writing, performing, doing session work and producing for many years. His musical journey began in Huntington, West Virginia where he played his first shows at the age of 12. After attending college at Marshall University, Nick moved to Chicago where he attended the Chicago Conservatory of Music where he studied guitar and keyboards. His next stop was Nashville where he wrote, recorded and performed for several years. Eventually Nick began to feel musically confined with the “Nashville” sound and was compelled to create his own new sound. He decided to move New York City where he could blend his country roots with R&B, blues and rock.

Nick met Tomas Doncker at a show in New Year City and they soon began to write together. Nick found his sound. Tomas is guitar guru and has been a major player in New York since the 1980’s. Tomas’ background in the blues, funk and R&B introduced new and unexpected rhythms and together with Nick they wrote songs with a fresh yet familiar sound. Nick and Tomas co-produced Nick’s new “Lonesome Time” EP.

“Lonesome Time” features only guitar, bass and drums and percussion. The use of layering guitars, both acoustic and electric, creates their distinctive sound which is complete yet sparse at the same time.

Nick has worked with many renowned musicians including Nashville super studio stars: Bruce Watkins, Hoot Hester, John Willis, Mike Severs, Sonny Garrish, Hal Rugg, Ronnie Hughes, Rodger Morris, Jerry Kroon, Dennis Wilson, Susan Jacks and Eddie Burton. Nick’s “Lonesome Time” EP was recorded with Tomas Doncker, Booker King and RJ Rabin.
