Bio

I want you to know sings Nick Matev, in his new debut album by the same name. Ironically now days Nick has flash backs about the fact that he would never picture himself here, in the position of recording his first solo album. Nick was born on March 11, 1984 in Izmail, Ukraine to parents of full Bulgarian descent. His parents, strong believers in the Christian faith, brought their kids up with good morals, and life meanings. Placed in-between as the middle child of 12 other children in the family, Nick always bonded with all his brothers and sisters. Family was important and is still his backbone through everything. Recording a record takes patience and time he says, and my family has stuck with me through it all. Writing was something Nick only did in his spare time. With the help of a good friend, Vitaly Belonozhko, who also helped co-write some songs and helped produce them, both of them came up with even more detailed lyrics, and good quality music. Having the track mastered by DVR PRODUCTION AND CROSSROADS PRODUCTIONS was a real treat for Nick. Both record labels were in for a killer surprise at what Nick can do. With all the catchy songs and melodies, it took him literally a good 6 months to record the disc. Nick had no problem of convincing people that he was a serious and hard working musician. His record consists of modern up beat, pop music, with real sound of rock. The strong melodies can evoke even the toughest music critic. Nicks tremendous talent at singing and writing really helped him move further along with his career. A traditional song like In Christ Alone which has been recorded by many Christian artists, allows Nick to put his own twist upon it. His choice of recording that song on his record was because he felt that he needed a song that would help his fans know how he feels about God. As the lyrics say, in every victory let it be said of me, my source of strength my source of hope is Christ alone. My favorite song, and I just feel that the song thoroughly explains my passionate love for God. I really enjoy writing and singing, and I hope that through my music you can genuinely see that he says. My fans need to know that I not only want this record to be made just because for my own sake, but I want this record to effect someones life and bring them closer to God, because without him we are nothing. I put my heart and soul into every single song, and I hope that it can come across as obvious. Spending 6 months writing, re-writing, and recoding over and over again, I know at the end it's all worth it. Despite the final call of the record, Nick remains humble to his roots, and is always eager to get involved with music.
