"Nick Wolff Band"

Cle-Punk lifers will recognize most of the Nick Wolff Band as a reconstituted version of Pride of Ohio, the gritty punks who sang odes to the Ohio underground in the early days of the 21st century. Wolff's new band began as a goof, but took a serious turn when Amps II Eleven guitarist Aaron Dowell joined, playing rallying bass lines behind Perish's ecstatically anthemic guitar and Wolff's gruff vocals.

They've all been around long enough to remember an obscure fact about their genre: Underneath its grimy veneer, the best punk rock is fun. And Wolff's debut is the musical equivalent of cheap beer: unpretentious, good-time, no-message-no-problem rock. You can actually clap along to "White Trash Love Story," and the raucous "Ready to Go" will surely incite some old-fashioned slam-dancing. "You're stuck with us tonight," growls Wolff on the opening track, as though that were a bad thing. It's totally not.

Bio

The Nick Wolff band is a comedy/punk-rock act, hailing from Parma, Ohio. The band is known for their outrageous stage shows and the crisp, distinctive tone.

Formed in late 2005, The Nick Wolff Band includes former members of Pride of Ohio, Fuckin-a Squadcar and former Amps 2 Eleven, Southern Tresspass, Step Sister, Markey Ramone bassist Aaron Dowell.

The band's self-released, 2007 debut LP, "The Truth... Told Through a Series of Lies", was recorded and produced by Rancid, Dropkick Murphys engineer Ryan Foltz at Cleveland Audio Studios. “The Truth” has inspired several great reviews and has earned its place in the rotation on several of the best local/regional punk radio shows and Internet streams.

With such catchy foot-tapping, ball-slapping ditties as "White Trash Love Story" and "MySpace Whore", you would have to be a bitter homo-phobe or a member of the clergy not to appreciate their rock & roll hijinks. Even while taking a shot at fellow mid-western rockers with such tunes as "All My Friends Bands Suck" and "Stuck With Us", both friends and fans everywhere just hate to love these guys!

The band is currently working on its second full length release and refining their plans for world domination through the medium of Rock & Roll.
