"When you hear the word Daddy do you think of Nicky Neptune?"

When you hear the word Daddy do you think of Nicky Neptune? After this summer you will but if you listen to the song, you will see that there is a twist. The title of the song is “Daddy” because of the respect Nicky has for his father.”I get the game from my Daddy”, says Nicky in the hook.
Originally the song was called Game but he changed it to Daddy because he felt like that title would garner more attention. Most people will initially think he’s calling himself Daddy, when in actuality, it is merely a shout-out to his pops.

The concept of the song is to show Nicky Neptune’s rise and the idea of him running an organization. He got the beat four years ago from Ro Marsalis (also the producer of Nicky Neptune’s “Wrong Thangz”) and he just dropped a song to it this year. When he first got the beat, he didn’t want to rap on it because it was too cold and he didn’t want to just put anything on it. The beat resurfaced and he immediately felt motivated to write the whole song in one night. He recorded it at Azmyth Studio in Indianapolis with an engineer, Dyllen

Daddy is based on Nicky’s life and his situations. It was Inspired by his Uncle Marvin who recently passed and his father. You can feel the energy of the song is joyful, happy and lit. This is truly trap music and he made it for his fans. This song is for anytime you want to feel lit! Daddy is a truly hype vibe for car rides, at the club, in the crib while cleaning or even in the shower. It makes you want to move! ""Wrong Thangz" by Nicky Neptune is the anthem for toxic relationships"

New single/music video "Wrong Thangz" by Nicky Neptune is set to release May 4 on YouTube and all streaming platforms. Wrong Thangz signifies the idea of being in a toxic relationship situation. The chorus tells us everything we need to know about the topic of the song. This concept came from a rough patch that Nicky Neptune actually went through in a relationship. Yes it’s based on a real life experience. You live and you learn.

Wrong Thangz was recorded two years ago at a Studio in Chicago. Nicky Neptune’s nephew, Ro Marsalis, provided the beat which Nicky chose from four others. Nicky wrote the verse all in that night but the chorus came months later. After listening to his verse on the beat, Nicky wrote the hook and sent a version to Ro Marsalis who sang the hook to make the current version of the song. Real life experience is what painted those words.

Nicky believes people will relate to “Wrong Thangz”. Anyone who has been done wrong in a relationship will easily feel his passion and struggle. The song is for anyone who has ever not been able to express their feelings through words.

This is a song you can listen to at any time, with anyone. On car rides with family, cleaning up the house, working out, and even just to vibe to. Wrong Thangz is a song for people in trying relationships. Often we worry about the wrong thangz and don’t appreciate the good things that are right in front of us. Watch the official music video on YouTube on May 4th to see if the "love doctor" can solve the problems in Nicky Neptune's love life. - Midwest Trap
