Bio
Nicolas studied classical piano from ages 7 to 17, then completed his formal musical education with Denise RIVIERE, who initiated him into writing for orchestra. Along with his passion for music, while playing in jazz, blues, and rock bands (Sonny RHODES, Screamin Jay HAWKINS...), he obtained a National diploma in Applied Arts and won the Beaux-Arts Academy of Paris' prize for draughtsmanship.
Pursuing multiple artistic projects with his agent, Allain FRANCOIS, until 1990, he then created his own recording studio and production company, in order to devote himself fully to music. He composed and orchestrated for l’OREAL, RADIO-FRANCE, NESTLE, ACCOR, LESIEUR..., wrote song arrangements for AZ, BMG, CARRERE, PARIS ALBUM..., and wrote music for documentaries, short films, theater, television, and radio. His TV and radio theme songs won numerous prizes.
In 2003, Nicolas produced "Cadenza Infernale"(iTunes), an original musical concept. The piece was recorded in Sofia by the Bulgarian Symphony Orchestra. Nicolas was commissioned to create a video-audio room for the "Cité du Numérique" at the Futuroscope in Poitiers (France), a room whose "raison d'être" was to enable the public to experience the numerically created effects of the new technology of spatialisation of sound in 6.1.
Fascinated by the rhythm of images, he sees his work as that of an "orchestrator of space and sound", and consists trace the contours of the sound space / visual event many projects, and continues to work on creative projects / concepts currently in progress ...
