Having kept vaulted for the past year two magnificent albums, esteemed songstress and award winning vocalist Nicole Willard has emerged as a solid contender for commercial success. Her music is also being considered for many opportunities in the feature film and top 20 television show realm. Nicole has also been very busy on the West Hollywood social scene, Karaoke Bar's and is seen out and about. She is currently nominated as Female Vocalist of the Year for the 22nd Annual Los Angeles Music Awards. Her most recent self titled album due to be released September 15th is currently under consideration for a Producers Choice Award for presentation at this years Los Angeles Music Awards red carpet event, as well as for the National Rock Album of the Year category from the 5th Annual Phoenix Awards.
Nicole and her publicity team have decided to give a free down load of a song written by Motley Crue's own Nikki Sixx to anyone who visits this site. This tune, called “What Were You Thinkin “ is one that truly exemplifies her amazing vocal skills and soulful delivery.
Her self titled full length album has 10 magnificent songs on it. The album is produced by a consortium of established producers, including underground rock musician Markus Allen Christopher, late of Miss Crazy fame. Critics who have heard it rave that every song, from the first track to the last is solid, well produced, superbly engineered and masterfully delivered.
Nicole has also landed her version of "Head Over Heels" in feature film KILL SPEED originally recorded by Tears For Fears.
Nicole has shown tremendous versatility during the course of her many forays into the music industry. She has had the privilege to work with top producers and engineers in both LA and New York. Her musical style has ranged from Hot AC and Soul R&B , to Hard Rock. Not only does she posses raw vocal talent and ability, she also the looks to go with it. Nicole has been termed “ the most photogenic artist on the LA music scene.”
