Bio
NIGHT PEOPLE is a recording and occasional performing project initiated by filmmaker Matthew Buzzell. The bulk of the NIGHT PEOPLE canon is mined by Buzzell on baritone ukulele, electric tenor guitar, and vocals. The Night People repertoire includes original material and a few choice covers that are by and large cinema-related. Preliminary recordings were produced by multi-instrumentalist Lee Wall, drummer for LUNA. LUNA's Sean Eden is also a key member and contributor to NIGHT PEOPLE with his most personal of guitar musings. NIGHT PEOPLE's rhythm section is chaired by Noel Brown and Eric Kinlaw of THE CUBISTS. Noted studio contributors have included Nikki Monninger of SILVERSUN PICKUPS and Gena Olivier of MIDNIGHT MOVIES.
